Brillier 43mm Airborne Automatic Watch with Horween Leather Strap #BR-01

The Brillier Airborne watch is assembled in the USA by Fine Timepiece Solutions, in Fountain Hills, Arizona. This is a state of the art assembly facility meeting the highest standards, employing Master Watchmakers (including CMW21, a rare certification).

This new Brillier aviation-inspired watch features an intriguing blue hue dial and vintage styled hands and hour markers. The hands and hours are triple-layered with Swiss SuperLuminova for reading the time in the dark. The dial is very easy to read even at a glance. A hardened mineral crystal is used and it has been treated with an anti-reflective coating to further increase the clarity of the dial.

The 43mm case design houses a Miyota 21-jewel, caliber 8215 automatic (self-winding) movement. The movement is tested for time rate, beat error and amplitude in three positions. It is checked for power reserve, and a running test is performed in three positions. It has been regulated to +/- 10 seconds in 3 positions. The case is also tested for water resistance.

The watch comes fitted with a Horween leather strap that is hand made in the U.S. by Jack Foster. Tie-off stitching is done at the lug ends. Stainless steel closure. The watch comes in a Brillier leather pouch that is made in the U.S.

Excellent Watch!!

I've had this watch for a few weeks and its amazing! The face is more amazing in person and keeps great time (+5 sec day). I was worried about the Lume but it's very good. The band is impossibly soft and the whole package extremely comfortable immediately, I'v gotten the band wet a few times and doesn't seem to be a problem. Even thought this watch keeps great time the miyota movement is a bit noisy and almost sounds clunky/steampunk funky.

I was quite impressed with this watch. I would like to see this watch in 44mm size. otherwise wonderful value and wonderful watch.

The watch was fine but there was a minor problem with the strap. Solving that problem was prompt and effective, so I am completely satisfied with the transaction as a whole.

These Brilliers are really beautiful, modern-yet-classic pilot watches. Runs great so far, easy to read, everything you want in a pilot watch. Assembled in America is a nice plus.

What a GORGEOUS watch and supple real leather strap, thank you island watch for stocking it! I was worried 43mm would be too big on my 6.25 inch wrist but it is perfecto. Wish I could attach a picture to this review somehow. Fantastic sales experience and appreciate that I could track my parcel. LOVING the watch, thank you.

Nice looking watch with good finishing, the movement feels a bit rough when hand winding. Strap is soft and fits nice but it smells strong, Iâ€™m hoping the smell will not be so strong after a few days.
