The new Orient Bambino dress watch features an Orient made 21-jewel automatic movement, a white dial with rose goldtone applied Roman numeral markers, matching rose goldtone hands, a solid screw-in case back, date window at 3:00, a domed mineral crystal, and a dark brown leather strap. Great watch for wearing to the office or out for dinner. It is a beautiful watch with classic elegance and style. it will look VERY handsome on your wrist!

Notes from Orient:
With a domed crystal that helped define the popular Bambino series, the newest Bambino is refreshed with a new look that is worthy of the popular achieved by its predecessors. The ER2400BW sports a white dial with rose gold accents; a combination not seen in the earlier Bambinos. Secondly, a great distinction between the current model and the previous model is the usage of Roman numeral hour markers. This provides a more classic look to the piece. Here, the numerals are displayed in an even number sequence (2, 4, 6 etc.) as opposed to the traditional three, six, nine, twelve sequence. Each off number is denoted with a bar. If you are wondering why IIII was used instead of IV for the number four, it all has to do with creating symmetry on the dial.

The rose gold colored hands are slimmer and more flat than the dauphine hands on the original Bambino. The thin hands are reminiscent of classic watches from the past. Also noticeably different is the outer chapter ring which looks like a track that runs around the dial. The markers not only denote the seconds, but really give the ER2400BW a vintage feel.

Multiple people have given me compliments on this watch, other watches don't have that effect, but I think this watch looks very nice.

First, Long Island Watch is a great company to deal with. My girlfriend ordered this watch, but did not put correct shipping address, resulting in USPS returning the watch to sender. She contacted the company and they immediately resent the watch and did not charge any additional shipping, which was free to begin with. I will definitely be a repeat customer and will recommend them to others. Second, this watch is the absolute best value in the history of time pieces. The watch is stunning in person and everything about it screams quality. Even though it is fairly large, it wears small due to the detail of the dial. At a price that so obtainable by virtually anyone, there is no reason for any gentleman not to have a nice dress watch.

This is the fourth watch that I have purchased from Island Watch. Again, this was a smooth trasnaction with excellent customer service. Not to mention that I picked up a quality watch at an excellent price. I believe that the Orient value to quality to price ratio is perfect for those who love automatic watches.

I don't have much to add beyond the countless praises for this timepiece. It is so much more impressive than any picture can capture.... truly one of the best values out there. A quality product. Buying it from Island Watch was a pleasure. I received it quickly and it was well packaged. A++. Will happily continue to be a patron.

I was amazed at the quality of the watch as soon as I opened the box. It has to be one of the greatest watch values of all time. The look and feel is first rate and as web reviews have stated well exceeds anything you might expect at this price. Its as good as any watch I've seen under a grand. None have excited me as much as the Bambino mainly because its such great value. This is my first Japanese automatic; So far, it keeps time as well as any of my Swiss automatic Chronometers and looks great doing it. Big Orient fan now... just ordered the Defender and will probably get the Flight too.

Received my wonderful new Orient Bambino on Friday the 17th. Although I ordered it on the 10th of October and it took 7 days to get here (a bit long for an anxious watch nut!), I couldn't be happier with the watch. The really neat thing about the classical looking Bambino is the value for the price. It is hard to believe that this cool looking retro watch cost so little! I really love the little details; for example, the domed crystal, roman numeral markers, which are rose gold, brushed flats on the side of the case and a nice leather strap. However, the strap is a bit too glossy and it is 21", which makes switching a bit difficult. Overall, I love the watch, and I am looking forward to my next Orient!!
