Orient 21-Jewel Automatic Aviator Flight Watch with Black Leather Strap #ER2A003B

The new Orient Flight watch is an exceptionally good value and it is an "out-of-the-park" home run in design and styling. The type B aviator dial harkens back to watches used in WWII by pilots of bombers and other aircraft. This version comes with a deep black dial with crisp white minutes shown on the outer edge and small white hour markers on the inner dial. The watch features luminous hour and minute minute hands, a date window at 3:00, a large screw-down crown, a screw-in case back, and a 42mm stainless steel case. The watch is powered by an Orient made 48743 self-winding automatic 21-jewel movement. Includes a thick black leather strap with buckle closure. Water resistant to 100 meters.

MY favorite watch

I was skeptical of buying a mechanical watch but this Orient looks beautiful and the sweeping second hand is fun to watch. It shines in the dark better than most of my other watches. It's a winner and my current fave.

This is a very beautiful watch with a vintage aviator look. I have a wrist width of 7 inches and in my opinion, this watch is the perfect size and has the perfect weight for me. The 22 mm lug size gives you a lot of options to swap out bands. The leather watch strap that came with the watch is good quality but I plan on buying one of those leather rivet aviator watch straps and also a Nato for this watch in the future. It has a non hacking movement but for an automatic, it really keeps great time. Island Watch is a great online company. They offer great watches and they really get on the ball and ship quickly. I'm very pleased with this watch and with the transaction with Island Watch.

Beautiful watch for the money. It feels of much greater quality than the cost would imply. I understand now why Orient has such a strong following. The watch turned up quickly and in perfect condition. It was well packaged and the overall service was excellent. I will certainly shop with IW again in the future.
