Seiko Green Dial Automatic Alpinist Field Watch with 38mm Case, and Sapphire Crystal #SARB017

The Seiko SARB017 field watch is powered by the premium Seiko 6R15 caliber self-winding movement that can also be hand wound and hacked. It is the same caliber that powers many of the Seiko Prospex line of watches. The movement has a generous 50 hour power reserve. The case has a fine brushed finish and the green dial sports highly luminous goldtone hands and hour markers. A date display is shown at the 3 o'clock position. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal is used to protect the dial. The watch is water resistant to 200 meters. Note: The crown at 4:00 turns the inner (compass marked) bezel. Case is a mix of brushed and polished stainless steel.

    Exactly what I've been researching for months! Bought a strapcode b+p super-o bracelet and I get a lot of compliments on the gold on sunburst green. Hand-winding feature of the 6R15 is really convenient, and one-up's my skx in that respect.

    Thanks for your great service and quick delivery your YouTube videos are excellent btw. I love this watch it’s just so different, always wanted one can’t get anything like it here in the UK. Import duty and VAT for the watch and strap was a bit of a killer at $150 but FedEx sorted everything out.

    The deep green of the dial is enough to get lost in, the 6R15 movement runs much more accurately than advertised, and after switching out the strap, the case fits very comfortably on my 6.5" wrist. The watch is altogether versatile and unique, a keeper for sure.

    Agonized over this watch, finally decided to take the plunge. In short, I'm totally delighted. This is a absolutely beautiful timepiece, subtle, exquisite, understated yet quietly spectacular. The green dial seems to vary in intensity depending on lighting, have not found it to clash with anything I wear, in sunlight it's stunning. The dial details, including the "Automatic" script in the Alpinist font, are beautifully done. With the Strapcode Boyer bracelet, it's very comfortable and sits well on the wrist. If you're hesitating because this watch is a bit "different", please don't! It's a subtle yet distinctive piece of wrist art. I'm throughly enjoying it, the Strapcode bracelet is highly recommended.
