This is a new Seiko automatic dive watch that has been nicknamed Turtle due to its cushion shape case. The watch is based on the very popular 6000 range of vintage Seiko dive watches. This new model features a Seiko 24 jewel automatic (4R36) movement, a date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back.

The 4R36 Seiko movement is self-winding, but it can be hand wound. 200 meter water resistance. The watch comes on a black silicone rubber dive strap. 45mm diameter case. It includes manual and a Seiko box.

    The watch came in a timely fashion. Another bonus was that there were no problems with bezel alignment. Every time I order something from Long Island Watch I am extremely pleased with the whole process. I will continue to order watches from them.

    For years I’ve been buying watches from Target that usually last a year or two, then it’s wore out. This was my first big boy watch and man I have been missing out! This watch in particular is very great looking, but not too flashy. You can tell the quality is high and this thing is built to last. Really good power reserve too, I take it off to sleep but it hasn’t died on me yet; it probably helps that I wear it every day. This vendor is also really solid. The video reviews are incredibly helpful and they should be, because these watches aren’t cheap and you should know what you’re getting. I have no qualms about ordering from here again.

    Excellent watch! Neat clear design and cute shape, easy to wear. Feels higher quality than cost. Like the day date feature too (except weekends when funny colour haha) Arrived across Atlantic promptly. Also think this maybe US spec seems nicer dial than U.K. ones looking online, not seen to compare in metal though. U.K. tax bumps price up a bit though. Happy though thanks

    Do NOT hesitate to get this. Even at its larger diameter, it wears very well on my 6.75” wrist. Super legible, strap is very comfortable but was a bit long for my taste, so I got an Uncle Seiko rubber to go with it. Seriously, the longer you have this the better it gets. And, as always, shipping was fast and customer service was stellar. Cheers!
