Orient SK Retro Reissue Automatic Dive Watch on a Bracelet #RA-AA0B01G19A
This new Orient model RA-AA0B01G19A is a reissue of a popular 1970’s automatic diver watch. The SK emblem on the dial stands for Super King (a.k.a. sea king). The watch has been reproduced to be as close to the original as possible, including the case, the tapered bracelet, and even the studded hour markers. It measures at the same 41.7mm across, which in the ’70s was a bit large.The dial displays the original text, except that it reads 22 Jewels (instead of 21 Jewels). That’s because the movement has been upgraded to an Orient caliber F6922 which is automatic, hand-winding, and hacking. The second crown on the watch is for an inner rotating bezel. The lug width is 18mm and the watch comes with a folded steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp. Water resistance is 50 meters.
