Double-Dome AR Sapphire Crystal to replace OEM Hardlex on SKX013 #013-DD

This is an after-market double dome sapphire crystal that you can use to mod and upgrade your Seiko SKX013. The crystal is 3.85mm thick and 28mm in diameter. It has a classic Seiko bevel on the top.

Note: It has blue anti-reflective coating (on the bottom of the crystal only) which imparts a blue hue at some angles. Also, It is a double dome. Domed top, domed bottom, so it does not have a magnification effect.

“The DD sapphire takes the look of the watch to a whole new level. The sapphire is iridescent which a slight bluish hue and honestly I think it even enhances the lume because that has been absolutely popping recently. I installed it myself by watching one of Mark’s videos and it was very easy to follow. All around this was seriously a great experience.”

“I expected the change from the hardlex crystal to be subtle, but the dome really brings out the dial and enhances the watch. The slight blue color also adds some character to the plain black dial. You will get reflections from the top surface since the coating is only on the inside.”
