Islander 22mm Brushed Solid-Link Bracelet for Orient Kamasu Dive Watches #BRAC-25

This is an Islander bracelet that is for Orient Kamasu dive watches (model numbers starting with RA-AA00 and RA-AA08). Note it will not fit the Kanno or any other watch other than Kamasu. It will not fit Kamasu that originally came on a rubber strap.

 

Sizing is done with screws (not pins). There are three holes in the milled scissor deployant clasp for fine adjustments. The end links are solid and curved. Stainless steel spring bars are included.

Bracelet tapers from 22mm at the lug to 18mm at the clasp.

“I got this bracelet because I was just curious what difference solid end-links and a milled clasp would make to the fit and feel. Those features only make a marginal improvement as it just makes me think it's better. It does make the watch feel a bit heavier.

The greatest improvement has to do with the dimensions and how the bracelet dramatically tapers from 22mm to around 19mm
This is far more appropriate for this watch than the original which was disproportionately too large.
As a large wristed person (20 cm), I don't desire getting watches or straps that are less than 22mm wide, but my mind was changed when I installed it and wore it.


The way the end links were machined perfectly fits the bezel is a very nice improvement over the original, which gaps.

I also appreciate the screw-in links for easy and less damage-prone adjustments.”
