The Seiko Presage model SARX019 is powered by a 23-jewel, Seiko 6R15 caliber self-winding movement that can also be hand wound and hacked. The 40mm case has a fine brushed and polished finish and the white enamel dial has black Roman numeral hour markers. A date display is shown at the 3 o'clock position. The strap has a handy deployant clasp with a dual push-button release. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal is used to protect the dial along with a hardlex exhibition back that allows you to view the movement in action. Water resistant 100 meters. Accuracy is: +25/-15 sec/day.NOTE: The white enamel dial is one of the main attractions for this watch. Made by baking, the cast iron based enamel dial is created without any hint of imperfection. It is simply gorgeous! Such perfection requires a very involved baking process and usually a dial of this quality is only found in watches costing thousands of dollars.
