This Vostok-Europe Almaz chronograph watch was inspired by a Soviet military space station program that began in the 1960's. The radiant blue dial features a 60-minute stopwatch sub-dial at 12:00 and a running seconds sub-dial at 6:00. The watch is powered by a 6S11 quartz chronograph movement that times up to 60 minutes when the stopwatch function is engaged. It includes a K1 hardened mineral crystal, a 47mm diameter rose gold plated, 316L surgical grade stainless steel case, a date window (inside the running seconds sub-dial) and a top-grain leather strap. SuperLuminova is applied to the hour and minute hands for viewing time in the dark. It is quite a striking watch.
