Squale 500 Meter Swiss Made Automatic Dive Watch with Blue Dial #1521-026-BLR

The Squale 1521-026-BLR is a 500 meter professional diving watch with a precision self-winding Swiss movement.

This is a classic dive watch with screw-in case back, and a 316L stainless steel case that is a modern 42mm x 14mm size for a nice presence on your wrist. The blue dial features Super-LumiNova treated luminescent hour markers and hands. A date window is a 3:00. Includes a uni-directional snap-on bezel with sixty minute markings. The Super-LumiNova PIP is protected via a sapphire glass guard. Includes a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The watch is made in Switzerland and it is powered by a Swiss Made Elabore grade Sellita SW-200-1 automatic (self-winding) movement with a 38-40 hour power reserve. Comes on a tan leather strap with prong buckle.

“The Squale 1521 has quickly become my go-to watch this summer. Comfort and fit are fantastic, even on my relatively small wrist. I've yet to see a photo that comes close to capturing how it plays with the light - the polished case and chapter ring, aluminum bezel insert, and especially the sunburst dial make this a stunner in sunlight. However, if it's subtlety you're after, the blasted case or ombre dial versions of the 1521 might be more your style.

If I had a complaint, it's that I ordered too soon. The leather strap isn't for me, and Squale announced the new 1521 bracelet within a week of the watch arriving. I usually wear this on a black sailcloth strap (pictured) or a an orange tropic strap, which nicely complements the minute hand but really throws understatement out the window.”
