Axios Flagship 40 Victory 200-Meter Automatic Dive Watch with Box AR Sapphire Crystal #AX-03
The Flagship Victory features a teal sunburst dial and grey sapphire bezel with a slight hint of red. Named after Admiral Nelson's flagship, the HMS Victory, who sailed at the vanguard of the fleet in the Battle of Trafalgar.A truly excellent watch tells a story, and the story of the Flagship finds its spirit in the man of Horatio Nelson, Vice Admiral of the British Royal Navy. As a commander, Lord Nelson was a brilliant naval strategist and best known for his decisive role in the Battle of Trafalgar in October of 1805. Etched onto the caseback of each Flagship is the HMS Victory, the last flagship of Lord Nelson as he sailed into battle against Napoleon's larger naval force.
The watch is powered by a high-beat (i.e. 28,800 VPH) Miyota 9015 automatic movement housed in a 40mm diameter 316L stainless steel case. The 120-click uni-directional bezel features a luminous sapphire bezel insert. The crystal is a box sapphire with inner anti-reflective coating. And, the teal dial has a sunburst effect under bright light or sunlight. The hands, markers and bezel insert are treated with SuperLuminova C3 X1 and BGW9.
