All dressed up in black! We haven’t seen many Seiko’s with a big date complication. You will notice at the 6:00 position the date is portrayed in dual frames, each with their own number. The big date is great for those with aging eyes that need a bit of assistance reading the date.
The dial is pressed with a y-pattern, which is evocative of streetwear. To see the time, the hands are done in white outline, which contrasts against the dial. For low light visibility, it uses lumibrite on the hands and markers. It is water resistant to 100 meters, and also includes a sapphire crystal. Powered by the 6N76 movement, it is grab and go quartz (battery).
