Introducing the Islander Calverton - Designed as a replacement to the discontinued Seiko Flightmaster, we did our best to pay tribute to the “Mighty Flighty”, while incorporating some of the Islander touches you’ve come to expect. It is a sporty flight chronograph that is packed with features you will certainly find useful.

The watch is powered by the Seiko Epson YM62A movement. This quartz movement contains both a chronograph as well as a useful audible alarm. A bi-directional bezel is used for rotary slide rule calculations. This friction bezel calculator can be used to calculate speeds, or the tip on a restaurant bill. Very handy!

Feature packed - The Islander Calverton is water resistant to 200 meters, something you typically do not see in a chronograph. The crown is screw down, and so are the pushers! The chronograph can measure up to 60 minutes with its sweeping center elapsed time seconds hand, and minutes subdial register at the 12:00 position. The dial is protected by a double dome, sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating.

The subdial at the left is running seconds, and the bottom subdial displays the alarm time. The alarm can be set twice a day, and it sets quite easily. The alarm audible chime will continue to ring for 20 seconds, or until you interrupt it by depressing a button.

Securing the Calverton to your wrist is a solid link, solid endlink bracelet that is sized with screws. The lug width is 20mm, and it tapers to 18mm at the milled scissor 6 position micro-adjust clasp. If you wish to upgrade to a heavier clasp, you can use our CLASP-01. . . if you want a tool-less micro-adjust, then our CLASP-03 is what you want.

The movement has an "EOL", aka, end-of-life indicator, so when the battery is getting low, the watch will tick in 2 second increments letting you know it needs to be changed. Battery type is SR927W (#395).
