Islander Brookville Calligraphy Edition Watch with Blue Parchment Dial #ISL-320

The Islander Brookville returns, this time in the Calligraphy Edition models. We have retained the same 38mm case that made the Brookville a hit. The dial, hands, crown and bracelet have changed. Inside is the Miyota 9039 movement that beats at 28,800 beats per hour. This true no-date movement winds with the motion of your wrist, and can also be handwound. On a full wind, it will run for about 40 hours. The seconds hand ticks along at a smooth 8 ticks per second.

The name "Calligraphy Edition" is a nod to the parchment texture of the dial. The arabic numbers and markers are applied and generously filled with lume. The sharp eye will catch a fountain pen nib acting as the counterbalance to the seconds hand. Covering the dial is a flat sapphire crystal, with inner AR coating.

A diamond style crown acts as your interface to set and wind the watch. For an added touch of class, the crown is topped off with a cabochon. The crown is screwdown, to help ensure 100 meters of water resistance. A screwdown exhibition caseback is used so you can see the blue Islander rotor, and it's inscription "Time is the great equalizer. It makes us all equal."

Securing the Brookville to your wrist is a 20mm bracelet equipped with quick-release pins. The bracelet has female endlinks to better conform to smaller wrists. The surface finish is brushed on the middle and outer links. Sizing is a breeze because we use screws to secure the links, instead of standard pins. To fine tune the fit, the watch is equipped with a tool-less micro adjust clasp (tapers to 16mm at the clasp)

We also include a bonus FKM rubber strap that is equipped with quick release spring bars, so you can change the look of the watch at your convenience.
