Islander Red October V2 Dive Watch with Radiant Blue Dial #ISL-323

First released in 2020, the Islander Red October was produced as a limited run of 200 units. The full run sold out in a matter of weeks. Since then, customer's have been asking us to re-release the watch. The Red October V2 is an unlimited run of that popular watch, with some key differences such as arabic numerals on the dial, and the lack of a special caseback.

The watch has a 42mm case with an offset screw-down crown at 4:00. Thickness is 14mm (15mm to the crystal) and tip to tip it is a very wearable 46mm (i.e. looks big, but doesn't wear big on your wrist). Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes.

Inside the case is an NH38, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. There is no date position on the movement and the dial does not have a calendar cutout.

The radiant, sunburst blue dial has SuperLuminova on the hands and hour markers and the Island Watch logo is luminous under 12:00. The 120-click uni-directional bezel has an embossed (diver marked) ceramic insert that matches up perfectly with the blue dial. The bezel has a marine-style edge that is easy to grip and rotate.

The dial has great visibility due to the use of an eye-catching double domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal that also guards against scratches. This model comes with an all solid-link bracelet with a deployant clasp. It is easily adjustable to fit most all wrist sizes. The center links on the Red October V2 watch bracelet are polished for a more unique look. The bracelet tapers from 22mm at the lug to 18mm at the buckle.
