Red Star Bullhead Mechanical Chronograph with Blue Dial #8597G-1
This new release from Red Star will have you feeling like you are wearing a chronograph from the 1970's. It is modeled after the famed "Bullhead" chronograph design, with the pushers and the crown located at the 12:00 side of the case, giving the layout the distinctive appearance of a bull's head and horns.
Powering the Bullhead is the Seagull ST1901 column wheel chronograph movement, complete with Swan's Neck regulator viewable through the exhibition caseback. Winding the watch is accomplished through the crown, located at the top of the watch. Engaging the chronograph is done by pushing the upper left pusher, and resetting (when stopped) with the top right pusher. Chronograph seconds is the central hand, and chronograph minutes is the upper sub-dial. Running seconds is at the lower subdial.
The bracelet is sized with friction pins, and the perfect fit is achieved through a 3 position micro-adjust clasp. A bonus leather strap is included as well, should you want to change the look. Low light visibility is enhanced with the use of luminous paint on hands, markers and dot on the fixed tachymeter bezel.
