First released in the summer of 2022, the Islander Northport has quickly become the best selling series of the Islander lineup. The original version at 40.5mm was perfect for virtually everyone. However, some of you asked for a smaller version, and that’s the call that the Northport 37mm is going to answer!

Named after a historic maritime village on the North Shore of Long Island, the Northport evokes a feeling of life on the water. Gazing at the dial, you will immediately be captivated by the stunning ripple pattern that has been embossed on the dial - inspired by the Long Island Sound.

This smaller Northport is 37mm in diameter, and the thickness is reduced to an amazingly thin 11.7mm. The smaller wristed will find the 43.5mm lug to lug just perfect! Of course, no matter which version you choose, you will still get female endlinks that articulate at the case. The Northport 37mm is paired with a fully brushed bracelet. You will find that not only is the bracelet brushed on the top, but also on the sides. This matches the brushing on the top and sides of the case, including the logo screw down crown.

Powering the Islander Northport is a Miyota 90S5 movement, which beats at 28,800 beats per hour resulting in a seconds hand that ticks 8 times per second – a very smooth appearance. This is a true no-date movement, meaning there is no ghost position for the crown. The movement can be handwound and hacks (seconds hand stops when you set the time) and has a power reserve of about 40 hours.

If you decide to use it as a dive watch, which it is perfectly suitable for thanks to its 200 meters of water resistance, you will use the functional unidirectional 120 click coin-edge ratcheting bezel. The bezel insert is sapphire. The sapphire bezel insert will resist scratching, as will the flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal over the dial. The watch hands and indices are lumed with Super-LumiNova, for superior low light visibility

Securing the Northport to your wrist is a solid link, solid endlink bracelet that is easily sized with screws. It tapers from 20mm at the lug, to 16mm at the clasp. Lastly, you will find a fully milled 6 position ratcheting micro-adjust clasp to get that “just-perfect” fit.
