Originally launched in the 1960's, the "Super-Squale" immediately became one of the most popular watches of the brand. It is the ultimate skin diver - a watch with a water resistance of 200 meters and just 38mm in diameter, 45mm from lug to lug - it is the ultimate diving companion with or without a wetsuit.
The watch is powered by a Swiss made Sellita SW200-1 movement (true no-date!), elabore grade. This 26 jewel Swiss made automatic movement has a beat rate of 28,800 beats per hour, which translates to a smooth ticking of 8 times per second - very fluid! A bit more modern in design than the vintage models, the dial uses arabic numbers at the 12/3/6/9 positions. To maintain legibility at night, the hands are markers are filled with C1 Super-LumiNova. The dial is matte black, and is matched by a black aluminum insert on the 120 click, uni-directional ratcheting bezel.
Helping with the 200 meter water resistance is a screw down crown. Securing the watch to your wrist is an 18mm lug, stainless steel bracelet.
