Introducing the Islander x Santurce TORTUGA,a collaboration with our friends at Santurce Collection in Puerto Rico.

The first thing you'll notice is the dial. It has a deep, pebbled/sand texture and a blue gradient brightest at the center and fades to nearly black at the edges, like looking down into open deepwater. Bold Arabic numerals at the even hours and baton markers in between are all filled with vintage-toned lume (bright green glow in the dark), giving the watch a warm, aged look against the cool blue. Look closely and you'll see that the dial text is in Spanish: "Automatico" and "200M/656 Pies," a small nod to the watch's Puerto Rican roots.

The hands are brushed silver: a sword-style hour hand and a bold arrow minute hand, both filled with the same vintage lume. The black seconds hand carries a lume pip, and its counterweight is a baby “tinglar” leather back sea turtle. Puerto Rico is known for highest concentration of nesting leatherback sea turtles in the United States.It's one of those details you may not notice at first, and once you do, you'll find yourself looking for it every time you check the time.

The ISL-365 shares its proportions with our popular Northport. The stainless steel case is a very wearable 40.5mm in diameter, only 12.5mm thick, and 47mmfrom lug tip to lug tip. The new oversized screw-down crown is engraved with Santurce’s logo and with 200 meters of water resistance ensure it's up to the challenge of a watery environment.

Inside is the Miyota 9039 movement, which beats at 28,800 beats per hour, so the seconds hand ticks 8 times per second for a smooth sweep. The movement can be hand-wound and hacks (the seconds hand stops when you set the time). Because the 9039 has no date, the dial stays clean and symmetrical.

The coin-edge dive bezel holds a black sapphire insert with vintage-toned markings that match the dial. Sapphire resists scratching, and so does the sapphire crystal over the dial.

Turn the watch over and you'll find a solid stainless steel caseback etched with a leatherback sea turtle on the seashore preparing to lay eggs beneath the sun, along with the Santurce Collection name. The Spanish continues on the back with "Acero Inoxidable" and "RAA: 200M."

The ISL-365 comes on a 20mm black FKM rubber strap with a textured pattern. It's comfortable, durable, and ready for the water.

Santurce Collection was founded in 2025 by husband and wife José and Anita. Before they ever made a watch of their own, they were bringing watch enthusiasts together across Puerto Rico and building friendships through a shared love of collecting. Santurce grew out of that community and out of their desire to share a little of their island through the watches they create.
