Third time is a charm! The Bayport is back for the third time. In this design refresh, you will see stylish partially skeletonized hands, as well as an upgraded dial with a wave pattern texture and new markers.
The Islander Bayport is the perfect size diver for many wrists. Do you think 43mm too large? 38mm too small? Well, then the Bayport is perfect for you, right at the sweet spot of 40mm. The case is just 13.5mm thick, and a very wearable 48mm from lug to lug. But to make it even more wearable, we have utilized an H-Link bracelet with negative endlinks. This allows the bracelet to wrap comfortably around your wrist, without the endlinks sticking out. The bracelet is sized with screws, making adjustments a breeze! And to dial in that perfect fit, we include a ratcheting micro-adjust clasp, no tools needed.
The watch is powered by a Seiko NH35 movement, that features both hand winding and hacking, along with a 40 hour power reserve. A date feature is located at the 6:00 position. To aid in night-time viewing, the markers are generously coated with Super-LumiNova.
Protecting the watch is a flat sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective coating on the underside. Surrounding the dial is a 120 click, uni-directional, ratcheting bezel with a sloped ceramic insert. The insert is also treated with C3 Super-LumiNova for low light viewing. The watch is water resistant to 200 meters, and features a screw down crown.
