Orient Small Seconds Automatic Dress Watch with White Dial #RA-AP0001S10A
The Small Seconds is a first for the popular Bambino collection. Instead of a long seconds hand, it features a small seconds display at the 6 o’clock position (hence the “SS” demarcation). This sub-register has been embellished with a concentric design which contrasts beautifully with the existing sunburst dial. The #RA-AP0001S10A SS is also the only model of this series to date to feature Arabic numeral hour markers (the Version 2 has Roman numerals), posted at twelve, three, six and nine. And akin to the versions two and three, the SS opted for a borderless date display.Where this model converges with the rest of the dress collection is with its domed dial, domed crystal and overall size. The dimensions are nearly identical to its predecessors at 40.5mm wide and 12mm thick. Another first is a see through, exhibition case back. The watch is powered by the new caliber F6222 mechanical movement, a variant of the caliber F6724 that runs the rest of the line.
