The Essence watch combines elegance and robustness in a Swiss mechanical high precision timepiece. The Essence has a patented Case Suspension System, a waterproof case, a COSC-certified Swiss Automatic movement, and flawless hand-finished surfaces. On top of that, unique features, such as Formex’s patented Micro-Adjustment System, will make the Essence exceptionally comfortable on your wrist.

Powering the watch is COSC-certified Swiss Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement featuring 26-jewels, a glucydur balance wheel, and a custom-built skeleton rotor with thermally blued screws. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides you with a clear view of the dial details. The dial has a Vertical brush finish with horizontally cut lines which are CNC machined into the dial base one by one. A new Formex applied logo is now on the dial. Date window is in a matching color. A sapphire crystal is also used for the exhibition case back.

Named after the Gamaret wine grape, this sophisticated dial comes in a deep reddish-brown color with a hand-applied dégradé and a vertical brush finish. Gamaret was created by André Jacquinet in 1970 at the Station Fédérale de Recherches en Production Végétale de Changins, Switzerland. It was developed specifically to thrive in an alpine climate and makes a strong, color-rich red wine. Giving it even more depth, the dial comes with the Essence signature horizontal lines, each CNC machined into the dial base individually to achieve perfectly crisp angles. The date at 6 o’clock is color matched and the brush finish on the applied indices and hands are rounded off with hand-finished mirror polished bevels.

The stainless steel case is 43mm in diameter and 10mm in thickness. Lug to lug measures 49mm. Water resistance is 100 meters. Hand-finished with undiluted passion, the Essence is crafted with an execution only found in high-end timepieces.
