If you were a pilot in WWII, you might have worn a watch like this on your missions. Back then, this type of pilot watch was designed to be large, rugged and easy to read. The diamond cut crown allowed for quick time changes (even with gloves on). And like the originals, the pilot style dial has 60 minute markings on the outer dial and standard hours on the inner dial. All dial markings and hands are treated with SuperLuminova for excellent night-time visibility. Even the long second hand is coated in SuerpLuminova. Fully charged this watch glows like a torch! The watch is fitted with a thick brown leather (aviator style) strap and it is powered by a Swiss automatic movement viewable via an exhibition case back.
