Islander Automatic Dive Watch with Orange Dial and Luminous Ceramic Bezel Insert #ISL-07

Our popular orange dial ISL-07 makes a return! You will immediately notice that is has a very familiar 43mm case with an offset screw-down crown at 4:00. Thickness is 14mm and tip to tip it is a very wearable 46mm (i.e. looks big, but doesn't wear big on your wrist). Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes. The case back has an embossed image of a lighthouse and the Islander logo.

Inside the case is an NH35, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. The NH35 also has a date wheel viewed at 6:00 on the dial.

The orange dial has Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour makers for low light visibility. The Islander name and logo are done in applied black metallic. The 120-click uni-directional bezel has a scratch-resistant black (diver marked) ceramic insert that is also treated with Super-LumiNova for a maximum glow-in-the-dark experience when lights go out. It is quite bright and long lasting.

The dial has enhanced visibility due to the use of an anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal that also guards against scratches. The anti-reflective coating is on the underside of the sapphire and it imparts a slight bluish hue at some viewing angles.

And, lastly you get a beefy bracelet with solid links, solid end links and a dual push-button flip lock deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustment. For sizing the bracelet, you will find screws are used for removing bracelet links instead of pins.

very niece watch easy to read size is just right for work not too tall comfortable wearing this my second islander enjoy them both

I just received my ISL 07 in the mail earlier today. Stunning! I could not have pieced together a better version of the SKX at this price point. The contrasting colors and the smartly placed polish, just take this to a whole other level. Well done Mark and Company, well done! This may be my first Islander, but I promise, it won't be my last!

Neither the pictures nor the YouTube videos do this watch justice. I spent weeks searching for the right automatic, and I'm glad I went with LIW. I wont hesitate so long next time.

The orange pops

I took advantage of the Memorial Day sale and choose the ISL-07 with the orange dial. Marc, you have done a phenomenal job on the orange dial. It really pops. The alignment of the day/date is outstanding as well. I have a different microbrand watch with an orange dial, and the ISL-07 is superior in color and fit and finish. I generally prefer larger watches, but this has a nice wrist presence and that orange assures its place in my watch rotation. Now, I'm saving up for the Blue-Green ISL-79, the ISL-92 and hopefully, an orange dial Islander "Monster."

love the watch marc. first one I've owned with a lumed bezel. used to be a seiko , orient guy but with marc's islander brand i don't even look at them any more. the watch hasn't been off my wrist since i got it a week ago. thanks marc

Fantastic watch. Got it on sale and I couldn't be happier. It's a great looking watch, and improves on the weaknesses of the Seiko SKX-07 (hand windable and hack function) all at a great price. Love the variety of dial, bezel and bracelet combinations.

Looks great in the sun, great lume, vibrant color on the dial, bracelet was super easy to size. Had two compliments on the first day i wore it! My only reason for giving only 4 stars is the somewhat lackluster case back, now that the brand is more established I’d like to see a full embossed design instead of just a laser engraved one. Definitely have my eye on a few others from the islander brand as well.

Really pleased with my new ISL-07, the orange dial really pops, more so than in the pictures. I had concerns how this would look on my 6.5 inch wrist, but it looks fine, not much difference lug to lug when compared to my SKX013. I had to size the bracelet, but the included quality screwdriver made the task simple, a nice touch there.

I'm really happy with the watch. The 46 mm does not wear big on my wrist and the orange face is just the shade I was hoping for. The bracelet is comfortable and does not catch the hair on my arm at all. I also really appreciate the included screwdriver to adjust the bracelet.
