Islander 38mm Automatic Dive Watch with Bracelet, Double-Domed AR Sapphire Crystal, and Embossed Ceramic Bezel Insert #ISL-63

I’m glad Long Island Watch finally decided to make a 38 mm version of this. I own a few different islanders and I can say that the quality is very consistent between all of them. This watch definitely punches way out of its weight class. The double domed sapphire crystal in combination with ceramic embossed bezel look fabulous together. The solid end links and screw in adjustment pins make for a great solid bracelet. Not to mention having drilled lugs means changing the band is a snap. Another home run for Long Island watch for sure. I can’t wait to see what new colors and variations come out next.

This was my first purchase from Long Island watch. I’m a male with a 6 inch wrist and this 38 mm fits me perfectly. I live in Florida and this is my summer watch that Im going to use for the pool, beach and springs. I’ve already worn it to the pool a couple times. Even though I’ve only owned this watch for about 2 to 3 weeks, I’ve already received a handful of compliments. I’m still in the honeymoon phase so I’ve even been wearing it on my wrist while I work from home on my computer, and can’t help myself from staring at my wrist constantly. I only wish I could post a picture with this review, so others can see how it looks on a six inch wrist. Satisfied customer! Thanks Marc!

This watch is awesome!

The watch is a spec monster. The things keeping it from a 5 star are for me, it seems a bit thicker than I would like, and it comes out to be heavier than I would like when sized up for my wrist.

I brought this to my workplace a couple days ago, my boss' jaw literally dropped and made a scene in front of everyone on the floor asking if I broke the bank lol. Some older dudes from HR wearing their (probably) expensive watches came to check it out.. keep in mind I'm just in my 20's who couldn't possibly afford a real Yacht Master. I said the watch came custom from Long Island Watch, New York ;) Anyway, after seeing Marc's own line of divers on YouTube with The Urban Gentry (aka TGV), I knew I had to get my hands on one -- especially this one. I mean, they're practically readily-upgraded custom Seiko's that have pretty much what you 'wished' came stock on a Seiko. So far, no problems with it. Looks expensive and feels very premium, subtle and classy. My very small wrist (6" even) fit great w/ oyster bracelet -- LOVE the screw links, makes it easy to adjust on the spot. We need more 38mm's though, and I'll be returning for more that catch my eye like this one. Thanks, Marc! :)

Wow, this watch is awesome in person. I have 7" wrists and I'm glad that I choose the 38mm case. For me anything over 40mm looks like a tuna can on my wrist. This 38mm wears comfortable all day and looks proportional. I debated on which Islander to get, since there are so many awesome options between the colors, shapes, sizes, bezels and crystals... WHoooffff, this watch looks amazing in person. The double domed sapphire crystal is visually striking, as if looking into a crystal ball. Additionally, you can read the time from any angle. There is no "ring of distortion" I'll call it, that you might see on flat crystals that have a bevel ground around the outer edge. I could go on... but I love my ISL #63. (I wish it had the red second hand like the Red October version, as that watch is hot.) If you're on the fence, get one. High value and feature rich. Again, wow. I'm a hard worker, when I look down and see this watch, I smile knowing that I earned it.

A beautiful looking watch with an amazing dial and gorgeous ceramic bezel. The size of the watch is perfect for my small 150cm wrist. It's my first Long Island watch and will not be my last. Highly recommended!

Good polish, chapter ring lines up, bezel has pretty good action with little back play. I own 3 or 4 islanders and they're just A+ every time. They quality to price ratio is fantastic. They come in a humble square box, which is fine with me because it looks like that extra packaging costs went right back into the watch. Well done - highly recommended.
