Islander Brookville Hi-Beat Automatic Dress Watch with Salmon Dial, AR Sapphire Crystal #ISL-37

This Islander watch has a classic and tasteful 38mm x 11mm stainless steel case design. The sides are polished and the top has a fine brushed finish. The salmon color dial features applied silver hour markers filled with SuperLuminova. The sleek silver hands are also filled with SuperLuminova for viewing the time in the dark. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal guards against scratches and provides you with an exceptionally clear view of the time and date.

The ISL-37 is powered by a 24-jewel, Hi-Beat (28,800 bph) Miyota 9015 automatic movement that is accurate and has predictable performance. You can hand wind it and it also hacks (seconds hand stops when crown is pulled out). Power reserve is rated at about 42 hours. The movement is visible via an exhibition window caseback. Usually dress watches only come with 30 to 50 meters of water resistance - the ISL-37 is rated at 100 meters and includes a screw-down crown.

The watch comes with an elegant stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp for easy on and off. The bracelet links are solid as are the end-links. The lug width is 20mm. Sizing is made easier with the use of a screws instead the more common pins.

The old latin phrase, " res ipsa loquitur " which literally means-- "the thing speaks for itself" best describes this watch. Love it, wish I could wear it everyday but have a couple of months worth of watches I have to consider. Thanks to Island Watch for this gem.

Wow!!! This is a total stunner! It was even more beautiful in person than I imagined. Keeps time to about 2 seconds/3 days. Marc, thank you for designing smaller sizes, great pluses like, sapphire (front and back), screw-adjust bracelet, great sweet spot size, accuracy, and a dial that gets comments every time I wear it. Great job!!!

My wife loves it! She has always liked midsize watches and doesn’t like the dainty ones usually offered for women. In her words the color is perfect and she would like to see the dial on a diver for me to get one.

This thing looks absolutely phenomenal in person. That salmon dial is just breathtakingly beautiful with its sunburst effect, the lume is fantastic, the movement is smooth and accurate (mine runs about +1-2s/day)... This is easily the best affordable salmon dial dress watch on the market right now, and this whole lineup is nothing short of outstanding. 11/10, highly recommended!

Excellent value eye catcher

This watch arrived very quickly right before I left for vacation. I was planning on taking multiple of my other sub $700 range watches but when I received this I took only this watch. I scraped the heck out of it along a rocky lazy river wall but to my surprise I only got a small scratch on the clasp.... memories I suppose. I haven't been able to take this watch off until my husband pointed out that it's too dressy for my daily sweatpants-while I clean everything- housewife attire, so I decided to order the isl 92 diver for a sportier look but this will be going back on my wrist once I'm feeling classy. The quality is fantastic and I love the way the light plays with the dial and the brushing/polishing on the bracelet. Mark is offering up some fantastic value and I love the exclusivity of the logo design..... gotta be in the know.
