Laco Valencia Automatic Luminous Dial Watch with Sapphire Crystal #861651

The Laco Valencia 861651 model features a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, an off-white dial, black hands and black hour makers. The dial has been treated with C-3 SuperLuminova. When it has been charged with the sun or other strong light source, it will glow very bright at first and then soften for reading the time in the dark. The matte finished 42mm diameter stainless steel case design houses a Laco 21 automatic (self-winding) movement that is viewable via an exhibition window case back. A quick-set date window is at 6:00 on the dial and an easy-to-grip crown makes for quick time adjustments. The smooth brown leather strap features contrasting stitching and a stainless steel buckle.

I've been wearing this for about two weeks now. Fit and finish is great, movement is very attractive, love the beefy crown and the simple overall design. The strap is quite nice, but a little plain, so i switched to a croc strap and i think it elevates the classy-ness just a bit. If i had one criticism it would be that the Miyota movement rotor is quite noisy, moreso than my other automatics, making it feel slightly less durable...although probably not actually so. Accuracy - It appears to be less than 60 seconds off after two weeks. The lume is crazy, extremely easy to acquire the indicators on the dial in the dark. For the price, it's a very neat, unique watch to add to the collection.
