Marathon Maraglo Navigator with Date and DEFSTAN Nylon Strap #WW194013BK-2102
The Navigator Class of Wristwatches were developed in partnership with Kelly Air Force Base in 1986. The MaraGlo Pilot's Navigator with Date includes a sapphire crystal, steel crown and crystal retaining ring, as well as an easy-access battery hatch. Featuring a high-torque movement, with an EOL (end-of-life) indicator to notify you when it is time to change your battery; MaraGlo appliqués at the hour markers as well as on the hour and minute hands, providing low-light illumination; a 41mm high-impact composite fibreshell case for ultra-light durability; and a 12-hour bi-directional bezel.
At 41mm, it's a great size for maintaing comfort, yet still remaining extremely legible. The watch is powered by an accurate 3 jewel ETA F06.412 HeavyDrive-PreciDrive quartz movement. And don't worry about battery changes. . . Marathon has included a battery hatch on the back of the watch, so changing batteries is a snap, and does not require any special tools. The movement includes an EOL (End of Life) indicator that tells you the battery is running low on power and needs to be replaced soon; it does this by ticking in 4 second increments as opposed to 1 second increments. The watch uses an official Defense Standard (DEFSTAN) nylon strap. This strap is high quality ballistic nylon and stitching, and is 290mm long.
