The AVI-8 Hawker Hurricane Bader Chronograph watch is a unique collaborative timepiece that commemorates and draws inspiration from the life, times and ethos of Sir Douglas Bader (1910 – 1982). The Bader Chronograph Limited edition pays particular homage to his time as Wing Commander of No. 242 Canadian Squadron and his Hawker Hurricane. Each watch is uniquely numbered and one of a highly limited edition of 726 pieces. The watch comes on a leather strap and includes a second nylon strap. Lug width is 22mm.The watch has a sixty minute stopwatch function, a seconds counter, and a 24-hour sub-dial. The chapter ring also provides a 24-hour time scale. The date is shown at 6:00 on the dial. The stainless steel case is 43mm in diameter and 13mm thick. Tip to tip measure 50mm. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters but it is not recommended for swimming.
