In commemoration of the Royal Air Force’s 100th year anniversary, AVI-8 has introduced a 1980’s edition of their Centenary Flyboy. This 1980's styled Centenary Flyboy watch is constructed out of marine grade 316 L Stainless steel. With a 42 diameter and 13mm thickness the case is perfectly balanced and proportioned as a field watch with an unfussy form.A scratch-resistant domed sapphire gives a subtle magnification to the green dial for greater clarity and depth. The sword-shaped hour and minute hands feature Swiss SuperLuminova for great low light visibility. The semi-translucent dial has faceted baton indexes on the hour and a zero-hour index (at the 12 o’clock) and a date window at 3:00. A unique seconds sub-dial at the 4:00 has been made to look like a cockpit instrument gauge.
The watch is powered by a reliable 21-jewel Japan automatic movement and it comes on CORDURA strap..
