Staying true doesn’t mean standing still. The Formex Essence 39 takes the collection’s signature 39 mm architecture and best-selling proportions and brings together three proven engineering advancements designed to make an already exceptional everyday watch even more capable.

At its heart is the new Sellita SW200-2 Power+ COSC automatic movement, delivering an impressive 65-hour power reserve while maintaining a 4 Hz (28,800 vph) frequency for excellent rate stability and COSC-certified chronometer performance. A newly integrated screw-down crown works seamlessly with Formex’s patented Case Suspension System, preserving the Essence 39’s distinctive profile while providing 100 meters of water resistance.

Comfort is equally engineered. The new butterfly bracelet clasp provides tool-free micro-adjustment directly on the wrist in 3 mm increments, with up to 6 mm of total adjustment. Whether your wrist changes throughout the day or you simply want to fine-tune the fit, the adjustment takes just a flick of the finger.

The Essence 39 retains the architectural details that have made it a Formex icon. Its signature horizontal grooves are CNC-milled directly into the dial, while hand-applied indices and faceted hands combine brushed surfaces with polished edges for a crisp play of light. BGW9 Super-LumiNova fills both the hands and indices for excellent low-light legibility, while the beveled date window at 6 o’clock and color-matched date wheel integrate the calendar display naturally into the dial.

Available in three distinct dial executions—signature Blue, Alpine White with blue accents, and Radiant Bronze—each offers a different personality while preserving the unmistakable Essence design.
