The Islander ISL-69 dive watch has an eye-catching sunburst blue dial. The hands and hour markers  are coated with SuperLuminova for viewing the time in the dark. The 120-click uni-directional sub-style bezel has an embossed diver marked ceramic insert the resists scratches. An anti-reflective dome sapphire crystal guards against scratches and also provides increased clarity. A day and date window is at the 3:00 position on the dial.

The ISL-69 has a familiar rounded case with an off-set crown at 4:00. The stainless steel case diameter is 40mm with a thickness of 13.5mm. Tip to tip it is a very wearable 44mm. Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes. The case back has a rendering of Long Island on it along with the Islander name, Island Watch and 200 meter water resistance.

Powering the ISL-69 is a reliable NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound.

The bracelet features all solid links and solid end links. Plus it has a milled scissor push-button flip-lock deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustment.
