The Le Jour Seacolt Diver takes its styling cues from watches of yester-year, but with a modern sizing and approach. This is a watch that looks great at the office, or out on the town, thanks to its rose goldtone accents and gorgeous dial.
Powering the Swiss Made watch is a 26 jewel Sellita SW200-1 movement. This Swiss automatic movement both hand winds and hacks, and has a power reserve of about 40 hours. The beat rate is 28,800 beats per hour, which translates to a very smooth moving seconds hand (8 ticks per second).
The 42mm stainless steel case is tastefully polished, featuring both satin and polished edges that you find in watches costing far more. The 120 click unidirectional ratcheting bezel is done in rose goldtone, and a lumed ceramic insert is used should you decide to time a walk, laundry, or even a dive! Yes, you can dive with this watch, thanks to the 200 meters of water resistance, and screw down crown.
The dial has a lovely sand texture, adorned with applied rose goldtone indices. The matching hands are filled with C3 superluminova for low light visibility, as are the indices on the dial. Turn the watch over and you are treated to a deeply embossed seahorse on the screwdown caseback. Case thickness excluding dome of crystal is 11.5mm.
