Marathon's new alarm clock is perfect for your bedside or for use in your kitchen or home office. It is compact enough to be a travel alarm also (just 3.5" wide by 3.75" tall). It has several unique features including a silent running smooth sweep hand that does not emit an audible "tick" when running. It also has an auto night light that comes on as the lights go off. It is a soft glow that makes the clock easy to read in the dark. It can be turned on or off with a switch on the back.

Tap the snooze bar on the top of the clock and the light fully illuminates for 5 seconds and then shuts off. Next to the snooze bar is a red alarm set button. Push it when you want to use the alarm and it pops up making it easy to see that it is engaged. A single crown on the back of the watch sets the alarm and time.

The clock is well made with a high quality of fit and finish. The clock requires two AA batteries that are included in the box along with an operation manual.

Note: This particular model has a very dark blue case even though it appears black the pictures.

We are actually using these clocks at home and we love the auto sensing night light feature. The alarm is a 12-hour alarm and must be set and/or turned on each night (i.e. it does not have multiple alarm capability like some digital models).
