The Nixon A489-1323 Baja digital watch has a multitude of cool features. It comes with with temperature gauge, dual time, count down timer, chronograph function, alarm, compass, and an LED flashlight for finding your way in the dark (at the 8:00 position on the dial). The polycarbonate case and bezel is 50mm wide and it is water resistant to 100 meters.

Movement: Custom digital with LCD display in either positive or negative high contrast. Functions include time of day (12 hour or 24 hour), day/date, calendar range from 2005-2105, dual time, alarm, chronograph, timer and thermometer with an external sensor (in Fahrenheit or Celsius), LED flashlight and compass.

Dial: The display includes an EL backlight with a high contrast LCD display and a custom molded polycarbonate display masking.

Case: 50mm wide, 100 meter/10 ATM custom molded polycarbonate case in matte finish. Custom molded polycarbonate bezel with integrated pusher guards. The case is equipped with a domed hardened mineral crystal, 4 custom molded stainless steel pushers and a vertical brushed stainless steel screw-on caseback. The band is secured with solid stainless steel screw pins.

Band: 24mm with a 32mm cuff. The band is a heavy duty nylon that is both durable and comfortable. The closure is using Velcro with custom molded rubber tabs folded through a custom solid stainless steel roll bar buckle. This band is designed to fit a wide range of wrist sizes.

Note: The temperature reading can vary when worn on the wrist. The manual suggests removing the watch and letting it sit for 20 minutes or so to get the most accurate temperature reading.
