The new Orient Star Classic is powered by an Orient made 40N52, 22-jewel automatic (self-winding) movement that can be hand wound and has hacking capability. It also has a power reserve of 40 hours which can be monitored via a meter at 12:00 on the dial. A quick-set date window is at 3:00. The hands are done in a striking vibrant blue color and the applied hour markers are silvertone. This model also features a domed mineral crystal that gives this timepiece an elegant look.
The watch comes on a beautifully made stainless steel bracelet that features push button deployant clasp for easy on and off. An exhibition window case back shows you the Orient Star movement winding rotor and balance wheel in action.
