Introducing our second collaboration with PHOIBOS, a brand we admire for their amazing designs and terrific price point. Limited to just 100 pieces in each color, this version of the Eagle Ray Compressor-Style watch is only available in our store. You will not find this colorway anywhere else, and to commemorate it, our brand name ISLANDER is spelled out on the lower half of the dial. Each is marked with the series number on the caseback.

This Phoibos Eagle Ray dive watch features a 41mm diameter 316L grade stainless steel case. It is just 14mm thick including the domed sapphire crystal. Sapphire is scratch resistant, so it will look new for a very long time! To ensure 200 meters of water resistance, a screwdown crown is used. The lower crown bears the Phoibos logo and is aggresively textured to ensure easy manipulation. The upper crown, which operates the internal rotating bezel, is embossed with the Islander logo.

The dial is polished in a sunburst pattern, emanating from the center. The purple or aqua dial is meticulously polished to provide an amazing sunburst effect, even if the lighting is not optimal. The hands and markers are coated with BGW9 Super-LumiNova so you can easily read the time in the dark. BGW9 glows a cool-blue. It makes for an amazing effect when the lights go down. The internal bi-directional rotating bezel is also coated in BGW9 as well, so the bezel is visible in low light.

The watch is powered by an SII (Seiko Instruments) NH35 movement. This is an automatic movement that handwinds and hacks. It has a power reserve of about 40 hours and beats at 21,600 beats per hour. The automatic movement is powered by the movement of your wrist, so there are no battery changes to be concerned about. There is a date window at the 6:00 position.

Securing the Limited Edition Eagle Ray to your wrist is a solid link, solid endlink bracelet. The bracelet is 20mm at the lug, and tapers to 18mm at the clasp. The clasp has 3 positions of micro-adjust to get the perfect fit. Sizing is a breeze since the links are held with screws.
