The Fusion is a meticulously crafted timepiece that blends sleek, svelte lines with stylishly appealing dials and a robust surface hardening treatment, ensuring superior protection against the wear and tear of daily life. Constructed entirely from premium 316L stainless steel, it features a class-leading 1200 Vickers surface hardening treatment for exceptional durability. At its core is the Japanese-made Miyota 9015 automatic movement with 24 jewels, regulated in four positions for an impressive accuracy of +/- 5 seconds per day. A push-button micro-adjustment clasp allows for effortless sizing on the go, while the phenomenal 7-link bracelet with screw pin sizing adds both comfort and refinement.

The watch measures 40mm in diameter, 47mm lug-to-lug, and just 10.5mm thick including the flat sapphire crystal, which boasts a beveled edge and six layers of internal anti-reflective coating. Additional features include a 20mm lug opening, Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9 on the dial and hands, a molded screw-down case back, 100 metres of water resistance, and a screw-down signed crown accented with a colored ring. Custom-made diamond-cut hands and a contoured case with top-level finishing complete the package. Each Fusion is shipped with a two-watch zip-up travel case and comes with a two-year international warranty.

Development
First sketched up in early 2022, Second Hour designed and prototyped the Fusion later that year. The Fusion then passed through several iterations as we progressively improved the details of the dial, hands, and locked in colours that best expressed our tastes and those of our customers. In early 2025 we created the final versions of the hands, with the distinctive centre channel on the hour and minute to create additional interest.

Intended to target both the casual and enthusiast of sport watches, the Fusion combines rugged build quality and durability with a versatile, curvaceous case profile and spectacular dials.

The Name
The Fusion draws together the case form and bracelet of the Sattelberg Mk2 with the exhaustive details and playful colours of the Mandala, creating something new and distinct. With its fusion case back that artfully captures the merging of two circular forms – reflecting its design origins - the Fusion plays its own game and will impress with its incredible fit and finish, and our always beautiful dials and hands.
