Seiko has finally answered the call - affordable automatic watches in smaller feminine sizes. Over the years we've received many requests from customers looking for a nice lady's watch that is not a quartz.
The Seiko 5 SRE004 is in a classic 28mm case, just 11mm thick and a mere 33mm from lug tip to lug tip. The white dial is accented by gold hands and markers, and of course, for nightime viewing there is a generous application of Lumibrite - Seiko's proprietary luminous material. The watch is powered by the Seiko 2R06 movement which hand winds, hacks and has a 40 hour power reserve. A day/date window is located at 3:00, while a push-pull crown is comfortably located at the 4:00 position.
Securing it to your wrist is a two-tone solid link stainless steel bracelet with 2 positions of micro-adjust to dial in the perfect fit. The dial is protected by a flat hardlex crystal. At a mere 69 grams, it is indeed a feather on the wrist.
