The Seiko Prospex SRP581 is the newest Monster series model. It retains the essentials of the 2nd generation Monster watches such as the new 24-jewel Seiko caliber 4R36 automatic (self-winding) movement, but it has an attractive metallic blue bezel and a black ion plated case. The powerful Seiko LumiBrite luminescent material is still used and it retains the same brilliant glowing properties that made the Monster such a huge worldwide phenomenon. A nice touch on this new model is the minute hand is blue making a nice contrast to the white hour hand and other markings.Lug width is 20mm. Case size is 43mm. Slightly domed Hardlex mineral crystal. Concave blue dive bezel to help protect the crystal. Seiko rubber dive strap with a buckle clasp. Solid screw-in case back. Water resistant to 200 meters. Day and date window. Blue minute hand.
