This (made-in-Japan) Seiko 5 Sports watch is powered by a Seiko 4R36, 24-jewel self-winding automatic movement with hand winding and hacking (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). A compass marked rotating bezel is provided for field use, hiking, camping, etc. The hands and hour markers are luminous filled with Seiko's famous LumiBrite for excellent time viewing in the dark. The blue dial and blue bezel combined with a woven blue nylon strap has an eye-catching presence on your wrist. It is a really superb watch for the money.The watch features a 44mm diameter stainless steel case, a Hardlex mineral crystal, a day and date window, and it is water resistant to 100 meters. The case has drilled lugs for easier strap or bracelet change-outs. Includes a Seiko box with papers.Note: This version has a dark blue dial, and the case has a bead-blasted finish.
