30 July 2026 – Sicura Watches, the Swiss tool-watch specialist founded in 1939 and silent since the brand wound down its operations in 1979, today announced its return to the market after 47 years with the launch of its first new timepiece: the Hexa 400. Developed as a contemporary dive watch with a strong emphasis on legibility, operational clarity, and robust construction, the Hexa 400 combines a distinctive hexagonal case, a dual-crown architecture, and a highly functional dial layout in a modern 316L stainless steel execution.

Design & Case Aesthetics

The Hexa 400 features a 40 mm case crafted from 316L stainless steel, with a thickness of 14 mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 46 mm. Its defining hexagonal form has been refined through sharper surfaces, cleaner construction, and more precise proportions, giving the watch a strong architectural identity while preserving the clarity expected of a modern tool watch.

The dial is designed around immediate readability, with a matte finish, high-contrast applied indices, a prominent 12 o’clock marker, broad hands, and a date window at 3 o’clock. Super-LumiNova is applied to the hands, indices, and bezel numerals, while a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coating protects the display in daily wear and low-light conditions.

A key functional element is the dual-crown configuration. The primary crown is used for time and date setting, while the secondary crown controls the inner rotating bezel, allowing the wearer to track a second time zone through a simple, intuitive mechanical solution rather than a dedicated GMT complication.

The external bezel is unidirectional with 120 clicks and features a black ceramic insert for improved durability and visual definition. The watch is fitted to a brushed 316L stainless steel three-link bracelet with a deployant buckle, secure lock, push-button release, and tool-free slide adjuster for quick micro-adjustment throughout the day.

At the heart of the Hexa 400 is the Swiss Sellita SW200 self-winding movement. This automatic calibre provides a 38-hour power reserve and drives hours, minutes, central seconds, and date functions in a straightforward, reliable format aligned with the watch’s practical character.

Built for serious aquatic use, the Hexa 400 offers 400 m / 1,320 ft / 40 ATM of water resistance. Additional technical features include screw-down crowns, a screw case back, an inner rotating dual-time bezel, and a construction focused on durability, ergonomic use, and dependable daily performance.
