This is a scratch and dent Squale Swiss automatic dive watch. The bezel insert was loose; it was adhered back by Squale. NEW condition otherwise with tag and sticker.

The Squale 101 ATMOS Ref. 2002 watch is a remake of the original 101ATMOS from the 70s. Made in Switzerland, the new Squale 2002 model is a 1000 meter dive watch that has the famous snap-on uni-directional bezel and 3.5mm thick sapphire crystal with a double gasket to ensure outstanding water resistance. The unique blue bezel insert is made of hard bakelite that is colored in a multi-stage process. First the phosphorescent material is applied by hand, followed by coloring with varnishes immune to seawater corrosion, and then application to the supporting steel substrate. This guarantees excellent bezel legibility thanks. Like the vintage Squale model that inspired it, the bezel can always be unscrewed from above.

Includes an offset crown and a solid stainless steel case back. The watch’s discreet elegance is combined with reliability, and durability through the use of special Swedish steels. Mechanical reliability is guaranteed by the well tried and tested Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. The 2002 also features an adjustable-length real rubber strap with safety catch. Black Dial.

Special Feature: On the Squale 2002 models you can 'push' down on the bezel to turn it freely; then when you release the pressure it returns to the regular 'click' mode.
