The Elite Red features a 45mm double case construction with glass-fiber reinforced resin as an outer case and steel as the inner case. It comes with a silicone-rubber military strap, a 60-minute rotating PVD plated stainless steel bezel, a black dial with inner 24 hour markings, a sapphire crystal, and a Swiss Ronda 517.6 DD quartz movement. Red Tritium lights are at each hour markings except for 12:00 which is blue. Hour and minute hands are fitted with red Tritium lights.Note: The all new TRASER P66 Elite Red is one of the very first military grade watches with RED Tritium Illumination. Built to surpass the established requirements of a MIL-G-SPEC Watch. The P66 is highly stable and shock resistant, with the same greatly improved water resistance of the Type 6 MIL-G.
What makes the new P66 Elite Red so very different from all other military grade watches is the unique Red Tritium Illumination. Red tritium is slightly less bright than the green or blue Trigalights. The red tritium illumination allows for visibility only within a close range of the wearer in very low light tactical situations and is ideal to avoid detection in the field. Red tritium glows with less intensity than the green but is perfectly readable in low light and no light situations.
