The Vollmer V3H143 Type B is designed to be large and easy to read (large minutes and small hours) just like the watches worn by bomber pilots in WWII. The large crown allows you to make quick time changes. All dial markings and hands are treated with a vintage color SuperLuminova for excellent night-time visibility. Fully charged with light, this watch allows you to tell the time in complete darkness for several hours. The watch is fitted with a thick brown leather (riveted aviator style) strap and it is powered by a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement viewable via an exhibition case back. Power reserve is about 42 hours fully wound. A slightly domed sapphire crystal provides a clear view of the dial and it is resistant to scratches. The watch comes in a Vollmer wooden gift box.
