Vostok-Europe Radio Room, Dual Time Automatic Watch with Luminous Dial #2255222

This is a version of the exclusive Radio Room watch from Détente and Vostok-Europe with a full-lume dial. This model is also part of the Signature Cyrillic Collection currently exclusive to North America. The watch features a 31 jewel decorated automatic 2426 Vostok movement with blued parts and black rotor that is viewable via an exhibition window case back. The movement is housed in a 46mm diameter 316L Surgical Grade Stainless Steel case. The dial is fully luminous (when charged with a light source) with black hour markings. The uni-directional bezel is marked with a 24-hour scale and a separate hour hand is used to track a secondary time. Date is displayed at 6:00 on the dial. The crown is a screw-down type and water resistance is to 200 meters. Comes on a very nice black leather strap with green contrasting stitching.

Radio Room, Dual Time Watch

The first exclusive watch by Vostok Europe commemorates the Radio Room Act of 1912, a direct result of the Titanic disaster, created mandatory intervals of 3 minutes of radio silence for emergency flash traffic only. The pie pieces on the dial represent these radio silence periods. This limited edition watch is inspired by the original Vostok radio room clocks used in Russian Naval vessels for decades through to today. Built to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Radio Room Act, this timepiece also houses a proprietary Vostok Russian movement with dual-time function.
