Seiko 38mm Prospex Solar Powered Dive Watch with 10-Month Power Reserve #SNE573

The Seiko Prospex SNE573 is a 38mm diameter dive watch with a solar powered quartz movement that features a 10 month power reserve (when fully charged with light). It has a brushed and polished stainless steel case with black dial and black 120-click uni-directional bezel. The powerful Seiko LumiBrite luminescent material is used to fill the hands and hour markers for amazingly bright luminescence in the dark. Sunlight is best for charging the solar cell, but a bright lamp will work also.

The SNE573 has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, a solid screw-in case back, a date window at 3:00, and it is water resistant to 200 meters. Comes on a matching black silicone dive strap. Note: This model also has drilled lugs to enable quicker and easier strap changes (if you prefer a change at some point). The watch is quite comfortable to wear and is suited for a small to medium size wrist.

“I'm enjoying this SNE573 way more than I expected. The seconds hand hits the markers spot on, and the bezel lines up just about perfect (the latter of which can be an issue with Seikos). The sizing of the watch is really nice too. The fact this is an ISO-rated diver is kind of cool. I ordered the three link bracelet to go along with it, and it's plenty comfortable. The clasp has a few sharp edges on it, but for $65 it's a solid bracelet. Fully articulates and that sort of thing. Delivery was fast and I'm happy to buy from Long Island.”

“I wish I found this watch 5 watches ago. Impressive for the price. I usually wear automatics and getting a solar was a great change. No fuss and no worries. I love the size. I have 7" wrists and this watch still wears great. Bezel insert is recessed which is cool. My only gripe is the 1/4 click misalignment of the bezel but I can get it to sit proper with a little nudge. At this price point, and everything else near perfect, its bo biggie. I got the bracelet upgrade from Marc which is highly recommended. It fits tight in the lugs with no gaps and checks all the marks- solid end links, screw pins, micro adjust (I do wish it had some on the fly adjustments). Very comfortable, though slightly sharp edges on the clasp. Lume is great, typical seiko, though not as good as my 62mas. This watch will be my no worries travel and adventure companion, a proper tool watch. It really could be a quiver killer, but wheres the fun in that? Dont hesitate. Youll dig it.”
