Seiko Samurai Prospex Automatic Dive Watch with Black Dial and Stainless Steel Bracelet #SRPB51

This is a new version of the Seiko automatic dive watch that is nicknamed Samurai. It features a Seiko 23 jewel automatic (4R35) movement, a date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The 4R35 Seiko movement is self-winding and it can be hand wound and hacked. The movement has a 41 hour power reserve.

Comes on a stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp. And, like the original Samurai the black dial has a captivating waffle pattern texture. The hands are a new style patterned after the hands found on the Seiko Monster series of watches. It includes manual and a Seiko box.

    The watch hits on all Mark's, except for one very critical point. It keeps horrible time. It generally runs 10 minutes fast over a 24hr period. Not acceptable.

    I have owned a Seiko Sports watch for 43 years, and still keeps almost perfect time. If you are considering a great dive watch, outside spending thousands on an Omega, this is the watch for you!It is a beautiful, full size diver, black , grey and silver tone watch, with a great band, extremely accurate. Don’t worry that the 43millimeter face is to big, I am 5-8, 165lbs, with a 6 3/4 inch wrist, and it lays perfectly, just beautiful. Island Watch was just great, excellent service and 3 day delivery, and a great price! Get this watch, you will be very happy, and save the money for vacation, instead of overpaying for an Omega, it won’t keep any better time!

    I really like everything about this watch. I chose the black dial with black and silver bezel. This particular color scheme looks really sharp. The lume is extremely lumie. The dial has a nice waffle texture and apparently I have wrists like a silver back gorilla but the watch is a nice size for me. I've really become a fan of the Seiko divers. I own several and I'm very happy to add this one to the collection
