NOTE: This is the new model designation for the iconic SRP777 watch. It is the exactly the same watch with a new Seiko model number of SRPE93. This Seiko automatic dive watch that has been nicknamed Turtle due to its cushion shape case. The watch is based on the very popular 6000 range of vintage Seiko dive watches. This new model features a Seiko 24 jewel automatic (4R36) movement, a date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back.

The 4R36 Seiko movement is self-winding, but it can be hand wound. 200 meter water resistance. The watch comes on a black silicone rubber dive strap. 45mm diameter case. It includes manual and a Seiko box.

The strap that comes with it is also perfect and very comfortable but most of the time I don’t even realize I’m wearing it, which is totally different from my other watches the watch it’s very low on my wrist and stay centered. It’s the only one I have that does that all the time I had heard that there were bezel alignment problems on some of these watches, but not this one lines are perfect. Very happy with the purchase. They also gave me a free steel bracelet to go with. It couldn’t be happier.”

“What can I say about the vaunted Seiko Turtle that hasn't already been said? I bought this watch to be my everyday/summer watch. It's nice enough to not feel cheap yet it's cheap enough not to worry about. I think it's the best modern diver you can buy.

What I like:
- The styling
- The color
- The strap is actually nice
- It keeps great time for the price. Mine runs +5 seconds per day
- I can wear it all day and it never feels uncomfortable
- The lume is awesome, last's all night
- The 4R36 movement is a great upgrade to the 7S26

What I don't like:
- Chapter ring isn't aligned with the bezel and dial. Classic Seiko.
- Feels top heavy with a NATO strap
- Too heavy with a bracelet, so limited on strap options for comfort

Honestly, you can forgo the expensive Swiss offerings and get a true legend for a fraction of the price. No, this is not a perfect watch but none are. Don't let the case width scare you. It wears wonderfully on my 7 inch wrist. I prefer the Turtle case over the SKX because it sits more planted on the wrist. It feels less like a hockey puck.”
